Educator Licensure Information: Anyone with access to the internet may view current educator licensure through the Tennessee Department of Education.
Parents/Guardians and Students
PowerSchool is a web-based information tool used across CMCSS to allow parents/guardians and students access to grades and attendance information. Students may log in using the same log in and password as used to log into school computers. Parents/Guardians may request access to PowerSchool by visiting the front office of their child’s school.
The parents/guardians of prior or current students may also request information pertaining to their child at the school.
On Jan 31, 2020, TDOE announced a new platform for parents. This is a brand new resource. The Parent Portal is currently available for parents of students that tested in the fall 2019 operational window. Parents only need the student’s ID number to access the platform, where they can securely view score reports and additional resources to interpret assessment results. The department encourages feedback via the survey in the portal.
District Employees
In addition to the resources listed above district employees have access to additional data based on their current position. One additional resource is the school’s Principal’s data base. The Principal’s data base is available to all district principals and assistant principal on the sharing server in a folder called ‘PrincipalsDatabases’. On Jan 31, 2020, TDOE announced a new platform for parents. This is a brand new resource. The Educator Portal is available for administrators and educators. All administrators and educators who tested students in the fall 2019 EOC administration should have received their credentials for the Educator Portal via email. Through this portal, educators may access reports, rosters, and other tools for simple data analysis. The department encourages educators to share feedback by emailing [email protected].
